With the average weather conditions of 20°-22°C (day), 18°-20°C (night), and 85% humidity, Tanakita is an ideal spot for camping.Equipped with comfortable amenities, Tanakita offers the experience of being in the outdoors without the hassle of bringing camping gears (tents, warm mattress, sleeping bag, etc.) or food and water supplies. All readily provided for the guests.
The main campsite of Tanakita is overlaid on an area of 2 hectares and is divided into 3 levels plus the Rumamera area; where Level 1 is on the highest plateau (Basecamp area and dining area) and Level 3 in the lowest one closer to the valley. The Rumamera area is located on the hill at the other side.
Level 1: 12 tents (@ 4 persons) + communal bathrooms (with hot water) + toilet
Level 2: 20 tents (@ 4 persons) + communal bathrooms (with hot water) + toilet + Mushola
Level 3 (at the Petromaks stage area): 13 tents (@ 4 persons) + communal bathrooms (with hot water) + toilet at Level 2
Rumamera: 10 tents (@ 4 persons) + communal bathrooms (with hot water) + toilet
This campsite in the pine forest is the latest camping area addition by Tanakita and the location is breathtaking. There are a few accesses to this site from different directions and there is a short footpath to Tanakita. The Pinus campsite also has an excellent hangout spot which is a Coffee House.
Pinus campsite can accommodate 40 tents (participants’ own or rented, 1 tent max 4 people), and provided with communal bathrooms + toilet.
* Tents in Tanakita is furnished with: floor mats, mattress + bed sheets, sleeping bags, pillow + pillowcase (for 4 persons). There is also electric socket for charging.
